School Rules and Regulations


  1.  All the students must come to school neat and tidy. 
  2. The students are not allowed to wear/bring gold ornaments to school.  
  3.  On class days and school functions, the students must wear the uniform prescribed for the season. However, in exceptional circumstances, a student who is unable to wear a complete school uniform would be allowed to attend the school provided a request is made by the parent through this Handbook. 
  4. All the photographs to be used for school purposes are to be attested by the school should be taken, preferably in winter uniform.  
  5. Students are strictly forbidden to write or scribble on walls, desks, benches etc. or throw paper or spill ink around the classrooms or cause damage to the school property such as laboratory articles, library books, furniture etc.  
  6. Damage done to the school property should be compensated for and such cases will be dealt with strictly. 
  7. The School authorities will be constrained to resort to stern actions to curb all kinds of destructive tendencies in the students.  
  8. Birthday Celebration The students up to class V only are allowed to wear a casual dress on their birthday. They may share a packet of toffees with their classmates/ teachers or they can contribute an amount of money to the school’s poor fund.  
  9. The students must reach the school at least five minutes before the time fixed for the morning school assembly. No one should leave the school premises during school hours without the Principal’s permission.  
  10.  The students are not allowed to be absent on the closing day/re-opening day or whenever there is a school function.  
  11. The students are strictly forbidden from bringing crackers or any sort of fire 16 arms to school. Serious action to the nature of dismissal may be taken if found in possession of the same.  
  12. Irregular attendance, habitual idleness, negligence of homework, disobedience and disrespect towards the members of the staff or bad moral influence will lead to dismissal.  
  13. If a student is absent, a leave note of absence is required. All applications for leave must be made through the pages of this handbook. 
  14. Leave without prior sanction from the principal may be treated as an absence. If no information is given for one month, the Pupil’s name will be struck off the roll.  
  15. Withdrawal of the child from the school for social functions or ordinary medical reasons is not encouraged.  
  16. Absence on account of illness should be supported by a medical certificate. No leave of absence will be granted except in an exigency.  
  17. Absence without leave is liable to be compensated at the Principal’s discretion.  
  18. A minimum attendance of 90% is expected from students for promotion.  
  19. Parents are not allowed to visit their wards or teachers in classrooms. Parents may meet the teachers on OPEN HOUSE days. 
  20. Parents are not allowed to see their children or meet the teachers during school hours. (Except with the prior permission of the Principal.)  
  21. The school is not responsible for your children once the classes are over at the scheduled time. Parents should make the necessary arrangement to take them soon after the classes.  
  22. Once the child comes to the school, he/she will not be allowed to leave the school before the school gets over. Hence requests for half-day leave, short leave etc, may please be avoided. 
  23. Parents are requested not to allow children to bring CDs, cameras, videogames, mobile phones, pen drives, smartwatches or similar gadgets to the School. It may be noted that any violation of this rule will be viewed very seriously.  
  24. Late Comers Students who are not present for the morning assembly for three days consecutively will be treated as latecomers. 
  25. Students who opt to leave school after the commencement of the new session will have to pay fees up to June. For those who opt to leave in the middle of a Term, the fee for the whole term should be paid. 
  26.  Both parents and students to strictly follow all Generic Preventive Measures laid down in the Standard Operating Procedure issued by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare regarding Covid-19. 
  27. Wearing of mask and carrying sanitizer is mandatory for all. 
  28. Students should carry consent forms, own water bottles and snacks. Sharing of water bottles and snacks is strictly prohibited. 
  29. Self-monitoring of health by students and parents is essential. The student should not come to school in case of minor illness. Submit medical Certificate as early as possible.

 

   30.Class Room Rules Be punctual and regular.  

  • Converse in English only.  
  • Keep your classroom neat and clean.  
  • Maintain discipline at all times and don’t move out of the classroom without the teacher’s permission.  
  • Movement in between periods should be done in an orderly manner.  
  • Eat your tiffin in the classroom during lunch break. A napkin, table mat, should be brought daily.  
  • Refrain from indiscipline in the corridors and classrooms.  
  • Contribute to the soft boards and class display boards.  
  • Bring books and notebooks according to the timetable. All notebooks and books should be neatly labeled and covered with a plastic cover. Only prescribed notebooks should be used. 
  • Books and notebooks are required to be kept in the class cupboard. They should be carried home only when given by the specified subject teacher, and duly returned.  
  • Notebook work should be neat. Whiteners and mechanical pencils are not permitted.  
  • Make sure to complete the work missed due to absence.  
  • “Plan out your work, then work out your plan”  
  • Children must take care to bring this school diary to school and also to safeguard it.  
  • Students are permitted to speak only in English on the school campus and the School bus  
  • At the first bell, there should be perfect silence on the school premises. They should pray silently and seek God’s blessings.  
  • Students are continuously monitored through CCTV Cameras. 

   31.Parent Responsibility: 

  • It is compulsory to attend PTM (Open Houses) which are already mentioned in the Year Planner.  
  • Parents can meet the Principal between 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. 
  • Parents should come to the school in proper dress code. 
  • Disrespect towards the staff by a parent will be viewed very seriously.
